Aims and goals
The aim of this unique teaching activity is to foster young careers through an intensive interchange of scientific knowledge. A training platform for personal and scientific exchange among young investigators will be provided. A distinguished faculty of GI researchers will lead discussions on the wide range of research possibilities. Close faculty/attendee interaction will be emphasized.
This course is designed to provide qualified applicants with dedicated programming and mentoring opportunities. Barriers and possibilities to translate the science into more effective treatment options will be discussed.
This meeting shall be the starting point for a European-wide network that stimulates professional careers and gives young researchers a durable platform on the international stage. It is a terrific opportunity to network with both the faculty and peers during coffee breaks. Candidates will be recognised early to become the leaders of tomorrow and UEGF wants to be at the centre of this process.
Programme
The programme has been elaborated jointly by the responsible course managers with the aim to make the course very interactive and lively. State-of-the-art lectures, abstract presentations and round expert tables will involve the participants in scientific discussions and an intensive exchange of ideas. The goal of the meeting is to provide expert opinions on the overall status of specific research areas and to enhance small group interactions.
